Job summary

MEL Environmental Solutions is seeking a General Builder to join our team and support pollution response projects for the insurance sector. You will lead on-site teams, coordinate multi-trade activities, and ensure work is completed to high standards while complying with safety controls.

Based in Northern Ireland and willing to travel to project sites, you will bring multi-skilled construction expertise, drive with a clean license, and collaborate closely with Project Managers to deliver

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled construction professional capable of leading on-site teams.
• Strong organisational and planning skills to manage day-to-day site activities.
• Clean driving license and willingness to travel, including to Northern Ireland sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate on-site teams to deliver projects efficiently and to the highest standard.
• Bring your multi-skilled construction expertise to life – from bricklaying to underpinning, concreting, drainage, and more.
• Operate machinery like mini diggers and dumpers
• Mix concrete, demolish, dig, and restore residential properties to their original condition
• Get hands‑on with tools, from demolition hammers to jigsaws (we’ve got the latest gear, and we prioritise your safety with PPE and HAVS controls).
• Travel to project sites
• Work closely with our Project Managers
