University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking a skilled radiographer to support the mobile lung screening service across Warwickshire. The post holder will travel to various sites, perform CT imaging to a high standard, and ensure compliance with imaging protocols.

The role involves supervising staff, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and participating in governance and QA activities. Interviews are face-to-face only.

Competenze

• Experience performing CT imaging in a radiology department.
• Familiarity with imaging protocols and patient safety.

Mansioni

• Perform CT imaging in line with protocols and in collaboration with radiology teams.
• Check patient identification and documentation and ensure correct examinations.
• Operate scanners and adapt imaging techniques to patient needs.
• Evaluate scanned images for diagnostic quality and alert clinicians to abnormalities.
• Participate in QA and radiation safety programmes and governance meetings.
• Provide theoretical instruction and supervision to students and junior staff.
• Support day-to-day organisation of CT units and participate in shift work including nights and weekends.
