Job summary

GE Vernova Energy UK Limited in Rugby is seeking an experienced Computer Science/ML engineer to develop ML and AI methodologies for engineering applications, including APOW tool reconstruction and new ideas. You will design, test, and deploy pipelines and mentor a team of four.

You will translate stakeholder requirements into actionable solutions and stay up to date with AI advances, applying state-of-the-art methods within our in-house platform for engineers in power and propulsion design.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning or Data Science.
• Strong background in Java programming and UI toolkits (Swing/JavaFX).
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop ML/AI methodologies for engineering applications.
• Reconstruct APOW tool and develop new ideas.
• Design, test, and deploy ML pipelines into the in-house platform.
• Mentor and supervise a team of four engineers.
