Job summary

East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is expanding its Mental Health Outreach Team with a Registered Mental Health Nurse - Band 6. You will be based within the Acute Medicine and Emergency Care Care Group to support patients attending our Emergency Departments and Acute Medical Units.

This new role will provide specialist mental health and enhanced care alongside acute teams, lead a Clinical Support Worker team, deliver training, and offer expert guidance to colleagues caring for patients with

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with Mental Health qualification and experience to lead an enhanced care team.
Experience delivering training and providing specialist mental health advice.
Line management, supervision and deployment experience.

Responsibilities

You will lead a team of Clinical Support Workers and provide specialist mental health advice, care and treatment to patients staff in the acute hospital setting.
Offering specialist advice and guidance to our clinical teams caring for patients with significant mental illness
Deliver a training programme for enhanced care and specialist skills in caring for patients with significant mental illness.
Line management, supervision and deployment of the enhanced care Clinical Support Worker team.
