A leading NHS Foundation Trust in the UK is seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Lead Pharmacist for Medicines Information. The successful candidate will develop and manage the Medicines Information service, provide clinical and scientific advice, and represent the Trust in various committees. Strong experience in clinical pharmacy and a Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy are essential. This role offers an opportunity to support a high-performance organization dedicated to improving community health services.
We are looking for a highly motivated, forward-thinking, dynamic individual to join our senior team, who is keen to learn, innovate and push the service forward. You will have excellent organisational and people skills and the ability to work with and influence staff within the Trust and across Northeast London ICS. The post holder will be a key member of senior Pharmacy team, delivering a high-quality Medicines Information service to clinical staff and patients, whilst developing effective working relationships within a multidisciplinary setting both at the Trust and the wider North East London ICS. In addition to being the lead for MI, they will represent Homerton at the Northeast London Formulary and Pathways Group (NELFPG) and they will be the secretary of the Trust's Drugs and Therapeutics Committee (DTC). The role will be central to ensuring the rapid and efficient implementation of the latest evidence-based guidelines across the Trust for the benefit of patients.
