A renowned NHS foundation trust in London is looking for a dynamic clinical pharmacist to lead their Medicines Information service. The role involves managing a team of pharmacists, providing high-quality information services, and ensuring the implementation of clinical guidelines. The post holder will be a key member of senior Pharmacy team, delivering a high-quality Medicines Information service to clinical staff and patients, whilst developing effective working relationships within a multidisciplinary setting both at the Trust and the wider North East London IC. In addition to being the lead for MI, they will represent Homerton at the Northeast London Formulary and Pathways Group (NELFPG) and they will be the secretary of the Trust's Drugs and Therapeutics Committee (DTC). The role will be central to ensuring the rapid and efficient implementation of the latest evidence‑based guidelines across the Trust for the benefit of patients. It is expected that the successful applicant will be an experienced clinical pharmacist with a substantial track record providing Medicines Information services, excellent time management skills, a proven ability to introduce new drugs into a formulary and extensive experience providing clinical pharmacy services in a hospital setting. They will have successfully completed a Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or have equivalent hospital pharmacy experience.
