Job summary

Intellectual Capital Resources Ltd is seeking a Mechanisms Engineering Manager to lead and develop our mechanisms engineering capability, blending technical leadership, people development and hands-on problem-solving.

You will oversee work package delivery, manage risks, collaborate with project managers and mechanism experts, and shape the capability roadmap with future product development and skills needs.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in spacecraft engineering or high-reliability sectors.
• Experience with electro-mechanical assemblies and hardware interfaces.
• Mechanical design background with tolerancing, materials selection and manufacturing methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop mechanisms engineering teams, supporting technical excellence and professional growth.
• Oversee work package delivery, engineering performance, technical risks and resource planning.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Engineering Leads and Mechanisms Experts to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
• Develop the mechanisms capability roadmap and identify future product development and skills requirements.
• Support the investigation and debugging of complex electro-mechanical hardware issues when required.
