Job summary

Dalkia UK, part of the EDF group, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to lead the mechanical building services at the Great Ormond Street hospital site. You will coordinate delivery across design, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning, ensuring compliance with project briefs and Building Safety Act.

Qualifications

• Solid technical understanding of mechanical building services within an M&E environment (HVAC, pipework, and related systems).
• Ability to produce well-structured RFIs, reports and written correspondence.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and site issues.
• Analytical mindset with practical problem-solving approach and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical engineering delivery at the GOSH site, ensuring design development, procurement, modelling, installation, testing and commissioning meet the project brief and Building Safety Act.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, construction teams, design consultants, subcontractors and internal management to ensure high-quality outcomes.
