Job summary

Expert Employment Limited is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with oil and gas industry experience to support the design and development of specialist oilfield equipment, subsurface components and control systems. You will work on mechanical design, 3D modelling, technical drawings, manufacturing support and product testing, collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver robust solutions.

Key activities include designing components and assemblies, creating BOMs, performing design

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience with mechanical design, 3D modelling and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of engineering standards, design verification and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies and oilfield equipment.
• Create and modify 3D models, detailed drawings and assembly designs.
• Interpret customer specifications and engineering requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation, work packs and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Support manufacturing processes, including machining, welding and assembly.
• Carry out design reviews, tolerance studies and basic engineering calculations.
• Support product testing, verification and FAT.
• Identify opportunities to improve product design, quality and manufacturing efficiency.
