Qualifications

• Strong mechanical engineering experience across design, operation or maintenance of fluid or pipework systems.
• Experience applying the full engineering design lifecycle within complex projects.
• Experience in regulated industries such as defence, nuclear, utilities or similar.
• Understanding fluid mechanics including water systems, valves and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of mechanical designs across the full project lifecycle.
• Provide expert advice on mechanical systems, compliance and engineering standards.
• Conduct site visits, surveys and support through-life system performance.
• Manage and support engineers, coordinate work and drive technical progress.
• Produce and review design, safety and substantiation documentation.
