Job summary

Specsavers is seeking a Principal MDM Engineer to lead the design, evolution, and delivery of our global Master Data Management capability. You will shape how customer data is created, governed, and consumed across the business, acting as the technical authority for MDM.

You'll drive scalable, multi-domain MDM solutions and collaborate with product and business stakeholders to deliver value, with hands-on execution and vendor-agnostic guidance.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Master Data Management, especially Customer MDM in enterprise environments.
• Experience with data modelling, integration (CRM, ERP, APIs) and data governance.
• Hands-on design and delivery of MDM platforms; Stibo STEP desirable.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and set direction across teams; vendor-agnostic mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and hands-on implementation of the MDM platform.
• Define scalable, multi-domain data models, matching/merging rules, workflows.
• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to align solutions.
• Mentor engineers and act as technical authority for MDM.
