Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Principal Marine Environmental Consultant to lead and manage planning, consent applications, EIAs and HRAs for offshore wind and marine infrastructure across the UK and internationally. You’ll own project delivery, mentor colleagues, and drive post-consent compliance in a dynamic team.

Hybrid working across locations including Woking is available, with opportunities to lead client relationships, manage programmes and budgets, and contribute to growing our marine

Qualifications

• You’ll have a relevant environmental degree and strong knowledge of the EIA, HRA and consenting processes.
• Marine environment application experience for projects located in England and Wales (DCO) or Scotland (Scottish Marine Licence).
• Experience of marine consent compliance is desirable.
• Consultancy and EIA project management experience is important, alongside multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Strong programme management experience with some budget management and clear written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate EIAs and HRAs for offshore wind and marine projects.
• Manage planning and consent applications and post-consent compliance.
• Own project delivery including programme management and budgeting.
• Mentor junior colleagues and build client and stakeholder relationships.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary specialists to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
