Outreach Lead Manager - Redhill (3-Month Contract, Jan-Mar)

We’re recruiting for a passionate, proactive Outreach lead manager to support and oversee a small team delivering vital services to individuals experiencing street homelessness across East Surrey. This is a rare opportunity to take on a role combining frontline outreach with staff supervision – making a direct impact while helping shape service delivery.

Key Details:
  • Pay: £22 per hour (PAYE)
  • Start: Early January
  • Length: 3 months (possibility of extension)
  • Location: Redhill
  • Hours: Monday-Friday
  • Will need to do around 1 early outreach shift per week (typically 5:30am-1:30pm)
  • Essential: Full driving licence
  • Ideally own car (pool cars available but not always guaranteed)
About the Role:

A mixed position combining staff supervision and frontline outreach:

  • Supervising a team of 2 Lead Workers and 2 Support Workers
  • Overseeing day-to-day work of the team and ensuring high-quality service delivery
  • Carrying out some frontline outreach to people experiencing rough sleeping
  • Supporting individuals at risk of homelessness
  • Managing your own caseload and engaging clients into appropriate services
  • Working collaboratively with local partners to provide person-centred support
About You:
  • Passionate about supporting people affected by homelessness
  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals (homeless sector experience ideal)
  • Confident communicator with strong engagement and rapport-building skills
  • Some supervisory or mentoring experience desirable
  • Empathetic, organised, and committed to delivering high-quality support
