Job summary

MotionTech is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Team Lead based at Hemel Hempstead. You will manage and develop the maintenance team, ensuring the client’s automated systems run to plan with daily oversight and continuous improvement.

The role requires an engineering qualification (ONC/HNC or equivalent) with electrical bias, proven maintenance in both electrical and mechanical domains, and prior leadership of a maintenance team.

Qualifications

• ONC/HNC or equivalent in engineering with electrical bias.
• Hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Proven experience leading or supervising a maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Keep the automation delivering the daily operational plan.
• Lead the planned preventative maintenance programme using the CMMS.
• Oversee reactive maintenance, keeping downtime to a minimum.
• Identify and deliver improvement projects to boost throughput and capacity.
• Build clear, regular reporting and work closely with the client.
• Cover shift rotas and develop the team’s skills and competencies.
