Job Description

Lead Maintenance Engineer – London Liverpool Street – Up to £50,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer ready to take the next step in your career? Do you want to join one of the world’s leading Facilities Management providers, supporting a prestigious, high-profile site in the heart of the City?

CBW is currently recruiting for a Lead Engineer to be based at a recently completed, high-profile development in the City. The building offers a contemporary, high-spec working environment within a prominent new landmark. Designed with sustainability and wellbeing at its core, it features exceptional amenities and modern spaces that set a new standard for today’s workplace. The Lead Engineer will work Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, overseeing maintenance across 30+ tenant floors within the building.

The successful candidate will have proven experience managing an on-site engineering team and building strong relationships with tenants, ensuring a high standard of service and operational excellence throughout the property.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage agreed KPI and SLAs alongside the Supervisor
  • Arrange specialist sub-contractors
  • Manage all reports/site log books (Working with the Contract Manager & Supervisor)
  • Ensure all paperwork is up to date on each contract and ready for audits
  • Attend client meetings if required
  • Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
  • Emergency lighting & Fire alarm tests
  • Air Conditioning – Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
  • BMS System – Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
  • Statutory Compliance
Hours of Work
  • Monday to Friday (40 hour week)
  • 08:00am to 17:00pm
  • 25 Days holiday + Bank Holidays
  • Extra Day off for your Birthday
Requirements
  • Electrical or Mechanical Qualifications – Level 2/3 – NVQ or City & Guilds Equivalent
  • Multi-Skilled
  • Client facing and presentable
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
