Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Lead Maintenance Engineer/Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/Senior Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Recognised qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of TPM / PPM systems, health and safety procedures, and contractor management.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs across factory machinery.
  • Lead fault-finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
  • Plan and implement TPM and PPM schedules.

Skills

Experience in manufacturing
Knowledge of pneumatics

Lead Maintenance Engineer/ Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/ Senior Maintenance Engineer

A Lead Maintenance Engineer/ Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/ Senior Maintenance Engineer is required for a leading manufacturer based in Birmingham.

Package:

£47,000 rising to £50,000 after 1 year

Monday-Friday day shift fixed on 06:00 till 14:00

Lead Maintenance Engineer Role:
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs across factory machinery.
  • Lead fault-finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.
  • Plan and implement TPM and PPM schedules, ensuring all maintenance activities are up to date.
  • Support equipment installations and commissioning of new machinery.
  • Be able to commute to Birmingham and are happy to travel
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Lead Maintenance Engineer/ Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/ Senior Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Recognised qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and robotic systems desirable.
  • Strong understanding of TPM / PPM systems, health and safety procedures, and contractor management
  • Be able to commute to Birmingham and are happy to travel
