A renowned healthcare provider in London seeks a Band 8a Lead Lithotripsy Radiographer to manage the lithotripsy unit, perform ESWL procedures, and provide clinical guidance. The ideal candidate will have strong communication abilities, experience in lithotripsy, and a commitment to training and team collaboration. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from £64,156 to £71,148 per annum including H.C.A.

Qualifications

• Recent clinical experience at senior Radiographer level in an acute healthcare setting.
• Experience with performing Lithotripsy procedures.
• Evidence of multidisciplinary team working.
• Experience in training less experienced Radiographers.
• Experience working as a Sonographer in Urology.

Responsibilities

• Perform Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy procedures using imaging guidance.
• Manage the lithotripsy unit for optimal efficiency.
• Provide consultancy and leadership within the unit.
• Conduct training and education for staff.
• Participate in clinical audits and research.

Education

BSc Hons in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
