Job summary

Devon Partnership Trust is seeking a Consultant in Liaison Psychiatry to lead a multidisciplinary service in North Devon. The role offers clinical leadership within the Liaison Psychiatry team and opportunities to develop within the Integrated Psychological Medicine Service.

The post supports training, supervision, and active involvement in governance, quality improvement and research initiatives, with strong collaboration across hospital and community teams.

Qualifications

• Full Registration with the General Medical Council.
• Eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT at time of interview.
• Approved under section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act 1983.
• CCT in Old Age/General Psychiatry.

Responsibilities

• Provide Consultant leadership to a multidisciplinary Liaison Psychiatry service.
• Engage in service governance and quality improvement projects.
• Support training and supervision of trainees and students.
• Collaborate with Liaison Teams and Integrated Psychological Medicine Service.
