Job summary

Zoetis are seeking a Lead Laboratory Accessioner to join the Veterinary Pathology Group in Bristol, UK. You will act as subject matter expert and day-to-day operational lead for accessioning, ensuring specimens are processed accurately and within turnaround times.

Responsibilities include workflow management, training, quality assurance, inventory control, and cross-functional collaboration with Lab Operations, Pathology and Customer Service to deliver a seamless diagnostic service.

Qualifications

• Administrative experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with data entry and database management.
• Knowledge of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience supervising or coordinating staff is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the laboratory accessioning activities and act as SME for the team.
• Monitor workflow and allocate tasks to ensure efficient processing.
• Maintain accurate records and KPI data; support QA activities.
• Collaborate with Laboratory Operations, Pathology and Customer Service to ensure timely diagnostics.
• Oversee inventory management and allocation of accessioning supplies.
• Support data collection and reporting, contributing to continuous improvement.
