Responsibilities

• Day-to-day Kitchen Operations: coordinates tasks, ensures smooth workflow, maintains high food quality and presentation.
• Training and Managing Staff: guides team, ensures adherence to hygiene standards and consistency in preparation.
• Food Preparation and Cooking: participates in cooking, prepares complex dishes, sauces, and garnishes to meet standards.
• Inventory Management: monitors stock levels, orders ingredients, ensures proper storage and rotation of perishables, helps control costs.
• Quality Control and Presentation: ensures dishes meet quality standards and are visually appealing with proper portioning and plating.
• Maintaining Hygiene and Safety Standards: enforces food safety regulations and kitchen cleanliness; leads by example.
• Handling Pressure and Problem Solving: manages busy periods, resolves issues, and makes quick decisions.
