Job summary

The role leads the delivery, development and quality assurance of evidence-based groupwork programmes and structured interventions across East Renfrewshire.

Qualifications

• Qualified and registered Social Worker with substantial experience in Justice Social Work.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment and risk management.
• Experience of working with individuals involved in offending behaviour.
• Ability to provide professional leadership and support to colleagues.
• Experience delivering accredited or structured offending behaviour programmes; advantageous for domestic abuse and sexual offending interventions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, develop and oversee Justice Social Work groupwork programmes.
• Provide professional leadership and specialist support to colleagues.
• Promote best practice and contribute to service improvement activity.
• Ensure interventions are delivered consistently, effectively and in line with national standards.
• Support workforce development, programme evaluation and service transformation within Justice Social Work.
