Bishop's Stortford Swimming Club in Hertfordshire is seeking an enthusiastic Performance Swim Coach to lead our Junior Performance Squad, coaching swimmers aged 10–12 as they compete at county and regional levels and progress along the club's pathway.

The role focuses on planning engaging training, monitoring progress, and providing constructive feedback to swimmers and parents, while aligning with the club's coaching team.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching 10–12 age group at county/regional level.
• Current safeguarding and DBS checks.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the Junior Performance Squad (ages 10–12) at county/regional level.
• Plan, deliver and evaluate progressive training sessions supporting long-term athlete development.
• Monitor swimmer progress and provide feedback to swimmers and parents.
• Collaborate with Head Coach to ensure alignment across the club's pathway.
• Attend competitions and provide poolside coaching support.
• Foster a positive, challenging and enjoyable training environment.
