Job summary

Saab UK in Fareham seeks an experienced Integration Team Lead to guide the assembly, testing and commissioning of remotely operated vehicles and their supporting equipment. You will manage the Integration Engineering team, ensure adherence to customer specifications and delivery schedules, and oversee offsite/ offshore commissioning while maintaining high quality standards.

Experience with fibre optic termination and testing is essential, and you will drive improvements through structured change

Qualifications

Minimum HNC/HND in Electronics or related field.
Experience leading a fast-paced production area and meeting deadlines.
Strong knowledge of fibre optic termination, equipment and testing.

Responsibilities

Lead the Integration Engineering team in the assembly, testing and commissioning of underwater robotics fleet.
Ensure training to integrate assemblies and sub-assemblies per customer specs and company documentation.
Oversee offsite/offshore commissioning and customer support as required.
Lead fault finding and repair, report issues in the required format.
Drive continual improvement through change requests to improve product quality and efficiency.
Comply with 6S and health and safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
