Job summary

A leading ink manufacturing company in Milton Keynes is seeking a Lead Inplant Ink Technician. The role involves ensuring ink stock aligns with production needs, manufacturing inks, and providing on-site color matching. Ideal candidates will have experience in the ink manufacturing industry, fluency in English, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Qualifications

  • Desirable: experience in a laboratory, chemical or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Must live within 45 minutes of the customer site due to call‑out requirement.
  • Must be able to work 1 in 3 weeks on 24/7 standby call‑out.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring stock of inks and bases is consistent with production needs.
  • Manufacturing ink on site.
  • Providing on-site colour matching.
  • Monitoring ink usage and formulations.
  • Maintaining batch records.
  • Checking incoming goods.

Skills

Experience in the ink manufacturing industry
Fluency in English
Computer literate with Microsoft Word and Excel
Knowledge of 5S
Ability to identify and differentiate between colours

Education

Basic qualification in Maths and English
