Hyra in London is seeking a Lead Solution Architect to drive infrastructure modernisation in a security-conscious, public-sector setting. You will set architectural direction and translate business needs into scalable designs across cloud, networks, compute and security.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on reducing legacy debt, guiding engineering teams and suppliers, and delivering value through well-governed, risk-aware architecture decisions.

Formación

• Experience delivering complex infrastructure changes at scale.
• Proven ability to shape enterprise architectures from early stages to implementation.
• Strong understanding of non-functional requirements and security.

Responsabilidades

• Developing current, transition and target solution architectures for infrastructure and technology change.
• Translating business, service, security and operational needs into architecture requirements and options.
• Producing architecture artefacts (HLDs, solution designs, context diagrams, roadmaps, NFIs).
• Leading technical design workshops across cloud, networks, compute, storage, identity, cyber security, automation and service management.
• Setting architectural direction and assuring designs from engineering teams and suppliers.
• Evaluating options and recommending best fit considering value, cost, risk and strategic fit.
• Providing design assurance through build, testing, migration and transition.
• Identifying dependencies and risks and escalating through governance.
• Supporting programme shaping, business cases, procurements and supplier evaluations.
• Presenting recommendations to governance forums clearly.
• Challenging lift-and-shift approaches that would preserve avoidable cost or risk.
• Engaging service owners early to design for supportability, resilience, monitoring and security.
