Job summary

A Central London law firm is seeking an Immigration Solicitor to join its Immigration department. You will handle a broad UK immigration caseload, supervise junior team members, and provide technical guidance while developing the department through excellent client service.

With at least 3 years PQE, you will play a key role in supervising, mentoring, and driving revenue. The role offers a clear progression path and a modern Central London office with excellent transport links.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with current practising certificate.
• Minimum 3 years' PQE specialising in UK Immigration Law.
• Strong experience across personal and business immigration matters.
• Ability to independently manage a busy and varied caseload.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff.
• Excellent client care and relationship management.
• Commercially aware with experience working to billing targets.
• Strong drafting, analytical and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of UK immigration matters from initial enquiry through to completion.
• Advertise individuals and businesses on Visitor, Student, Skilled Worker and Family visa applications.
• Oversee junior paralegals and ensure quality and compliance.
• Develop the department through outstanding client service and commercial awareness.
• Keep clients informed and escalate complex matters when needed.
• Support client consultations and convert inquiries into retained instructions.
• Stay up to date with UK immigration rules and regulatory requirements.
