They’re now seeking an experienced Lead HV Substation Design Engineer to take technical ownership of key substation design projects nationwide. This is an opportunity to join a well‑resourced, forward‑thinking business offering genuine autonomy and flexibility within a high‑performing design environment.
You’ll be a senior member of the Transmission Design Team, leading substation design activity from concept through to delivery across major UK clients, including Grid, SSE, SPEN and regional DNOs. Acting as the principal technical contact, you’ll ensure all designs meet programme, cost and compliance objectives while supporting colleagues and clients with expert guidance.
