Job summary

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced registered Mental Health Practitioner to lead the Lancaster and Morecambe Home Based Treatment Team (HBTT). You will ensure safe, effective care and support service users and carers.

You will promote engagement with service users and carers, drive clinical governance and staff development, and reflect NHS values while developing pathways and supervising staff. Closing date: 30 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Must hold relevant professional qualification (RMN / Social Work / OT).
• Completion of, or working towards, Management or Leadership training.
• Documented evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).

Responsibilities

• Support the service manager in the running with first line management for a community-based Lancaster and Morecambe Home Based Treatment Team.
• Oversee supervision and mandatory training and deliver a high quality and high performing team.
• Drive improvements in standards of clinical practice and patient care, staff development and CPD.
• Lead in the delivery of clinical governance, quality improvement and performance management in the locality.
