Job summary

The University of Nottingham’s Centre for Dairy Science Innovation at Sutton Bonington invites a motivated individual to join the dairy herd operations as Head Herd Person (Robot Maintenance). You will oversee robotic milking systems, supervise routine husbandry, and work with students and academics on education and research programs.

Candidates should have a minimum HND/BTEC in Agriculture or equivalent, plus practical cattle management experience and a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Qualifications: minimum HND/BTEC in Agriculture or equivalent plus relevant work experience.
• Must hold a full, current driving licence for operating university vehicles.
• Proven experience in a similar role and handling stock/animal husbandry tasks.

• Independently manage own workload.
• Carry out conventional animal husbandry and stockmanship duties with high standards.
