JPMorgan Chase is building the Chase UK digital bank from scratch, seeking a Lead Software Engineer - Front-End to deliver cloud-native, microservices-based front-end solutions with modern technologies. You will participate in architecture design and oversee the SDLC lifecycle within a flat-structure team.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on JavaScript concepts.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and ES6+ syntax.
• Ability to write testable, clean JavaScript code.
• Familiarity with writing unit tests.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, agile environment within a geographically distributed team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Create and maintain clean, efficient, and reusable codebase.

• Applies knowledge of tools within the SDLC toolchain to improve value realized by automation.
