Job summary

Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Fit Testing Lead to coordinate the group-wide FFP3 fit testing service, ensuring staff are properly tested and supported to use accurate RPE safely across sites.

You will provide expert advice on donning and doffing, manage service demand and resources, and maintain accurate compliance records and reports, contributing to ongoing service development and improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience of leading or supervising a team
• Experience of project or service improvement work
• Computer literacy including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Relevant fit testing / RPE training or willingness to undertake required specialist training

Responsibilities

• Explain FFP3 fit testing and correct RPE use to staff.
• Prepare and communicate fit test compliance reports to managers and health & safety stakeholders.
• Lead and develop the fit testing team and maintain CPD.
• Ensure service compliance with legislation and Trust policies.
• Develop and improve the service through monitoring and feedback.
