Lead Fire Shutter & Curtain Installation Engineer Company Overview

We are currently on the lookout for a Lead Fire Shutter & Curtain Installation Engineer to join a market leading company that specialises in the manufacture, supply, and installation of fire and smoke curtains, fire shutters, and industrial shutters. With decades of experience within the industry, our client has built a solid reputation across a variety of sectors, including residential, health, education, leisure, and commercial.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled Lead Engineer to join their team. This role is primarily based in the North West and involves new installations of fire shutters and curtains, with a specific focus on fire curtain installations. The role will also involve some service and repair work, providing a variety of tasks for the right candidate.

Lead Fire Shutter & Curtain Installation Engineer Role and Responsibilities
  • Lead installation and fitting of fire shutters, fire curtains, and industrial shutters across various sites.
  • Primarily new installations, with some service and repair work.
  • Oversee and coordinate projects, ensuring the timely and quality installation of products.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety standards and guidelines on site.
  • Manage time efficiently to deliver high quality installations.
Lead Fire Shutter & Curtain Installation Engineer Skills & Experience Required
  • Experience with Fire Shutters, Fire Curtains, Smoke Curtains, Roller Shutters, and Industrial Shutters.
  • CSCS Certified, IPAF Licence, and PASMA (required).
  • Strong work ethic with a focus on punctuality and reliability.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • A solid understanding of health and safety practices on site.
  • SSSTS qualification is desirable.
  • UK Main Contractor Site Experience.
