Job summary

A leading engineering consulting firm seeks a Principal Fire Engineer to join their Fire Engineering Team in London. This role offers flexibility with at least three days in-office or on-site, alongside the remaining days working from home. You will provide strategic fire safety advice across various developments including commercial and residential projects. Ideal candidates will hold a Fire Engineering degree and have proven experience in fire safety engineering, coupled with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of fire design guidance documents and legislation.
• Background in fire safety engineering with an understanding of fire-engineered solutions.

• Developing Fire Safety Strategies during Design and Construction stages.
• Preparing technical engineering analysis using guidance documents.
• Overseeing and managing projects from inception to completion.
