Service Care Solutions is recruiting a Lead Fire Safety Engineer to lead fire engineering projects from our London/Cheltenham base. You will drive technical delivery, develop fire strategies, and collaborate with clients, architects and design teams to ensure compliant, commercially viable fire solutions.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience as a Fire Engineer or in a similar fire safety role.
• IFE membership at AIFireE or MIFireE level is required.
• Strong understanding of UK fire safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good grasp of commercial management and resource planning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fee proposals, fire strategy reports and technical documentation.
• Attend client meetings and undertake site surveys and inspections.
• Review architectural drawings to identify fire strategy risks and opportunities.
• Conduct means of escape analysis and evacuation modelling.
• Support fire engineering calculations for radiant heat and smoke control.
• Carry out third‑party reviews and design verification.
• Convey fire strategies clearly to clients and design teams.
• Apply UK fire safety legislation to building projects and manage resources.
