Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is seeking an Interim Fire Risk Assessor to deliver Type 1–3 FRA assessments across residential and commercial properties in the Midlands. You will produce detailed, compliant reports and advise on remedial works to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role offers an interim contract with the opportunity to go permanent, a company tablet, and a flexible home/site working policy. You will travel across the Midlands and manage your own diary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering Type 1-3 FRAs in residential and/or commercial environments.
• Experience writing professional technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Type 1-3 FRA risk assessments across a varied portfolio (domestic, commercial, care homes).
• Produce clear, compliant FRA reports with prioritised action plans.
• Advise clients on remedial works and safety improvements.
• Liaise with clients, housing providers and facilities teams to ensure compliance with legislation.
• Manage your diary and travel across the Midlands region.
• Support re-inspections and ongoing compliance strategies.

Take on an Interim role where you can enjoy an opportunity to go permanent with an ongoing contract. As aFire Risk Assessor, you'll be delivering high-quality, compliant assessments across the West and East Midlands.

I'd love to see CVs from anyone who has worked in fire as anAssessor, Safety Consultant, Safety Surveyor, FRA Consultant, or in similar roles within the protection and building safety industry.

As a Lead Fire Risk Assessor, you will be:

• ConductingType 1, Type 2 and Type 3 Risk Assessmentsacross a varied property portfolio such as domestic, commercial and care homes and high risk buildings
• Producing clear, compliant, and detailed FRA reports with prioritised action plans
• Advising clients on remedial works and safety improvements
• Liaising with clients, housing providers, and facilities teams to ensure legislative compliance
• Managing your own diary and travel across the Midlands region
• Supporting re-inspections, follow-up visits, and ongoing compliance strategies

• Proven experience deliveringType 1-3 FRAsin residential and/or commercial environments
• RecognisedFRA qualifications, such as: NEBOSH Fire Safety / Risk Management and Level 3/4 Certificate in FRA
• Experience writing professional technical reports
• Full UK driving licence
