Job summary

SimCorp is seeking an experienced Principal Business Consultant to join our Technology Solutions team in London. This full-time role supports the expanding EMEA client base, combining technical expertise with business consulting to drive implementation success.

The ideal candidate has a solid technical foundation, financial services knowledge in risk, valuation, and performance, and >5 years delivering SaaS solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative or technical field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Econometrics, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience delivering SaaS solutions.
• Programming experience in Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs and web services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and client onboarding projects from design through delivery, mentoring juniors.
• Design and build ETL processes for data integration and analytics delivery.
• Lead solution design engagements translating business requirements into technical architecture.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations to ensure client success and smooth rollout.
• Coordinate with sales/pre-sales to validate timelines and identify gaps during scoping.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and identify process improvements.
• Contribute analytics integration strategy for SimCorp's IMS platform (SimCorpOne).
