Role: Lead Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Engineer
Location: Filton, Bristol (60% office-based)

Responsibilities
  • Approve Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&DT) deliverables and lead the resolution of F&DT problems using appropriate methods.
  • Be responsible for the technical scope of projects, provide guidance to F&DT engineers and suppliers, and liaise with Chief Engineers, F&DT Seniors, Principals, and Technical Authorities.
  • Support the development of less experienced team members on technical and behavioural aspects.
  • Collaborate with Process, Methods and Tools (PMT) and Digitalization departments on 1A transformation projects to implement automation and optimization tools and processes.
About You
  • Hold or be close to holding approval signatory in F&DT analysis.
  • Experience and know-how of structures engineering and analytical techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of overall aircraft structural design principles, with a structural analysis background focused on fatigue and damage tolerance.
