Framatome Limited in Avonmouth seeks a Lead Fabricator to drive safe, high-quality fabrication and welding in a nuclear-focused environment. You will guide fabrication teams, interpret drawings, and ensure traceable, right-first-time delivery.

The role focuses on high-integrity stainless and carbon steel work, adherence to controlled procedures, and mentoring shop floor personnel while collaborating with production and quality teams.

Qualificações

• Stainless/Carbon Steel fabrication experience in a regulated environment.
• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent.
• Able to read engineering drawings, weld maps and specifications.
• Experience following controlled procedures and safety/regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support safe and efficient fabrication and welding activities with daily technical guidance.
• Coordinate daily fabrication work to align with production schedules.
• Provide technical support on fabrication methods and workmanship standards.
• Carry out fabrication of high-integrity stainless/steel components per drawings and specs.
• Promote safety, quality, regulatory and site procedures at all times.
• Participate in daily briefings; communicate risks and priorities clearly.
• Monitor workshop activities for process adherence and traceability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of fabrication and welding practices.
• Review performance and contribute to improvements in quality and right-first-time delivery.
• Mentor and develop fabrication personnel; assist with investigations and NCRs.
