Job summary

Cardinal Wiseman School in Coventry is seeking a highly organised, calm and committed Lead Exam Invigilator to oversee examination sessions with integrity and calm. This is a flexible, part-time, seasonal role during exam periods, working closely with the Exams Officer to ensure procedures meet JCQ regulations and safeguarding standards.

You will coordinate invigilators, brief staff and students, manage materials, and assist with room setup and post-exam tasks, contributing to a supportive exam

This is a key role in ensuring that all assessments are conducted in line with JCQ regulations and that every student is given the best possible environment to succeed.

This is a flexible, part-time, seasonal role during exam periods, ideal for someone looking to contribute to a school environment in a responsible and rewarding capacity.

About the Role

The Lead Exam Invigilator will:

• Coordinate a team of exam invigilators
• Ensure all exams are conducted in accordance with statutory guidelines
• Manage exam materials securely and efficiently
• Provide clear briefings and guidance to invigilators and students
• Support the Exams Officer with preparation, room setup, and post-exam procedures
• Help maintain a calm, supportive atmosphere for students during exam periods
