Job summary

A technology consulting firm is seeking a Lead Enterprise Architect based in Salisbury, England. This 12-month contract role involves creating and improving design principles and collaborating with teams to deliver technical solutions. Candidates must have hands-on architecture experience, relevant certifications such as ITIL or TOGAF, and must be British citizens. SC or DV Clearance is essential. The position offers a competitive day rate of up to £875 within IR35 regulations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in an architecture role such as Applications, Technical Solution, or Enterprise Architect.
• Strong experience creating and applying architectural strategies, policies, and processes.
• Experience working in governance or assurance roles.
• Ability to write, review and maintain detailed technical design documents.
• British citizenship; no VISA sponsorship available.

Job Title: Lead Enterprise Architect

Contract Length: 12 months

Day Rate: Up to 875 (inside IR35)

Location: Salisbury England (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

• Create update and improve design principles policies and standards including writing supporting documents and related strategies.
• Work closely with technical and business teams to understand their needs and make balanced decisions based on risk complexity and business goals.
• Turn business problems into practical technical designs and solutions.
• Design systems with a moderate level of risk and complexity working across several services or within one large complex service.

Requirements

• Hands‑on experience in an architecture role such as Applications Technical Solution or Enterprise Architect.
• Strong experience creating and applying architectural strategies, policies and processes.
• Experience working in governance or assurance roles.
• Ability to write, review and maintain detailed technical design documents.
• ISEB qualification plus at least one of the following certifications:
• ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)
• IT4IT
• COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies)
• Must be a British CitizenNo VISA sponsorship available

This requires a valid UK Passport and / or birth certificate along with uninterrupted UK residency for the last 5 years minimum.
