Job Title: Lead Engineer PCM

Location: Eurocentral, Motherwell

Salary from £60,800 to £76,000

As Lead Engineer PCM you will provide support for operational issues to the Protection, Control and Monitoring department and deliver the asset replacement programme for Protection equipment

What you’ll be doing
  • Managing asset health driven replacement programme for Protection Equipment
  • Responsible for investigation and post fault analysis into protection related incidents
  • Providing an interface between TNOps and the Smart Grid Operations team and associated telecoms contractors.
  • Provide direct input into future protection investment plans and policies
  • Responsible for leading and engaging the team in meeting the business health and safety goals by demonstrating the required health and safety behaviour
  • Responsible for asset data and configuration management to ensure the business is compliant with relevant cyber security standards
  • Collaborate with centralised functions to support wider business objectives and compliance
What you’ll bring
  • Developed negotiation, communication and people management skills
  • Significant experience of protection systems on the power system network
  • Developed understanding of industry standard testing and configuration software packages
  • Developed Transmission operational experience
  • Capable of devising solutions to complex problems, individually and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of network and business data and network management systems.
