What You’ll Do

As our Lead Engineer for Functional Safety & Cybersecurity, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, security and integrity of our current and future vehicle platforms.

What We’re Looking For

We're seeking an experienced engineer with a strong background in Functional Safety and/or Automotive Cybersecurity, ideally gained within the automotive, bus, commercial vehicle or wider transportation sector.

You’ll have experience working with complex electrical, electronic and software systems and be comfortable leading technical discussions, engineering reviews and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll possess strong analytical skills, be able to translate complex technical concepts into practical engineering requirements and have the confidence to challenge assumptions to drive robust engineering solutions.

We’re looking for someone who combines deep technical expertise with leadership capability and is passionate about developing safe, secure and dependable vehicles for the future.

Bonus if you have:
  • Strong knowledge and practical application of ISO 26262 Functional Safety principles and processes.
  • Experience applying ISO/SAE 21434 Automotive Cybersecurity Engineering.

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity activities including TARA, Cybersecurity Concepts and cybersecurity requirements development.
  • Understanding of vehicle E/E architectures, embedded systems, diagnostics and software-controlled functions.
  • Experience with CAN, LIN and automotive communication technologies.
  • Experience using requirements management or ALM tools.
  • Experience managing and reviewing suppliers delivering safety or cybersecurity-related systems.
  • Knowledge of UNECE R155 and UNECE R156 regulatory requirements.
  • Experience supporting Functional Safety or Cybersecurity audits and assessments.
  • Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
