Job summary

London Stock Exchange is seeking a Lead Engineer to own core engineering capabilities for secure, scalable, AI-enabled digital products. You will drive backend and frontend development, set coding standards, and lead architecture decisions within cross-functional teams.

You will mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and improve deployment and monitoring processes while embedding AI capabilities into production systems. Strong full-stack, security, and ML experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with technical leadership.
• Strong full-stack expertise in ReactJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, REST APIs and MongoDB.
• Strong secure coding knowledge (OWASP).
• Experience leading AI feature development or ML model production.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git workflows, and automated testing.

• The Lead Engineer will drive the development of backend and frontend systems while establishing and enforcing engineering best practices that ensure high quality delivery
