Leonardo UK in Edinburgh is seeking a Lead EMC Engineer to lead a team of EMC experts and an UKAS-accredited test facility. You will drive development and qualification of next-generation radar and countermeasure systems, ensuring compliance from early development through to formal product qualification.
You will define EMC requirements, lead testing and peer reviews, and collaborate with customers and internal teams to grow capability while maintaining quality and standards alignment.
Job Description: Your impact Do you want to work at the forefront of EMC engineering, supporting the development and qualification of next-generation defence systems? At Leonardo, we have an opportunity for a Lead EMC Engineer. Is leading a team of EMC Engineers and a UKAS accredited test facility the next step in your career? Developing and qualifying next generation Radar, Laser and Infrared Countermeasures. The Radar and Advanced Targeting line of business is one of the world’s leading developers and manufacturers of advanced sensor and countermeasure systems. You will lead a team supporting this development and play a lead role in planning/execution of future facility capability.

The salary range shown reflects the approved grade band for this role, or a narrower hiring range published within that band, and is bench-marked against the external market. Exceptions above the standard range are managed through governance controls to protect internal equity.
