Job summary

Verso Recruitment Group is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to lead BSP development and low‑level software for ARM‑based embedded products. This hands‑on role covers device drivers, kernel configuration, bootloader work, and Yocto Linux distributions.

You will collaborate with hardware, firmware, and systems teams to deliver robust, production‑ready BSPs and ensure smooth platform bring‑up across new boards and features.

Qualifications

• Hands-on embedded software development experience.
• Proven BSP development, drivers, bootloaders, and kernel work.
• Solid understanding of Yocto, Linux internals and build systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimise low‑level device drivers for ARM platforms.
• Lead BSP development, hardware enablement and board bring‑up.
• Design and implement Embedded C software for constrained environments.
• Own and enhance bootloader functionality and early system initialisation.
• Configure, integrate and debug the Linux kernel for new/existing platforms.
• Build, customise and maintain Yocto‑based Linux distributions.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware and systems teams to resolve issues.
