Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Senior/Lead Assembly and Test Specialist in the Lincoln area. The role focuses on leading a small sub-team to perform electro‑mechanical assembly of PCBs, cables and housings and to execute automated tests with safety‑critical products.

Qualifications

• Be eligible to undergo UK Government DV security clearance.
• Experience leading a small assembly and test team.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Experience in production scheduling, planning and task assignment.
• Experience in close-tolerance or precision assembly work.
• Ability to follow detailed assembly and test instructions.
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Experience using customer owned online reporting systems.
• Experience writing technical reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small sub-team within assembly and test operations.
• Plan, prioritise and schedule tasks following detailed work instructions.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly of PCBs, cables and housings.
• Carry out automated testing using test equipment and software.
• Record completion of operations in production and test systems.
• Escalate issues affecting build quality, safety or delivery.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve issues.
• Maintain traceability and accurate build/test documentation.
