Job summary

MDE Consultants Ltd is seeking an experienced Lead Electrician to head Commercial Solar PV installation teams on site across projects nationwide. This is a hands-on leadership role for a skilled electrician who can supervise apprentices and support engineers on site.

You will manage daily workload, ensure safety and quality, coordinate with mechanical teams, and drive install, testing and commissioning to completion.

Qualifications

• Experience leading electrical installation teams on Commercial Solar PV projects
• Strong focus on health & safety on site
• Ability to coordinate with mechanical installation teams and manage resources within a nationwide travel scope

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical installation teams on Commercial Solar PV projects
• Oversee containment, cabling, termination, testing and commissioning
• Coordinate with mechanical installation teams
• Carry out quality checks and resolve installation issues
• Manage daily workload and site resources
• Mentor electricians and support engineers
• Maintain high H&S and workmanship standards
