Job summary

Natara Global, Billingham, is seeking a Lead Electrical Technician to supervise and execute electrical, instrumentation and control maintenance across the plant. You will ensure safety, reliability and regulatory compliance while mentoring technicians and coordinating daily activities.

The role involves reading engineering drawings and P&IDs, performing preventative and corrective maintenance, and supporting site safety and performance improvements. Previous leadership experience is essential.

Qualifications

• ECITB apprenticeship or HNC/HND with relevant practical experience.
• CompEx certificate covering Ex01–Ex04.
• Strong knowledge of Electricity at Work Regulations.
• Electrical maintenance experience in a regulated process/manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading or mentoring electrical technicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise technicians to perform electrical work safely and effectively.
• Coordinate daily activities to align with maintenance priorities and production needs.
• Install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation and control equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings, P&IDs, specifications and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
