Lead Electrical Engineer CRE/CEM- Rail MEP Design

Location: London

Type: Full-Time

Sector: Rail / Infrastructure / MEP Design / CRE / CEM

Seeking a highly skilled Lead Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic MEPHFC Design Team working on major UK rail infrastructure projects. You’ll lead electrical design delivery, manage engineers, and support the Associate Director in driving technical excellence across the team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical design from feasibility to as-built for railway infrastructure projects
  • Manage and mentor engineers; support team growth
  • Undertake CEM/CRE roles and design assurance
  • Present to clients and stakeholders
  • Drive quality and innovation across projects
What You’ll Bring
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering + professional registration
  • 15+ years’ rail industry experience
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
  • Deep knowledge of British Standards, Network Rail, HS2, TfL
  • Proficiency in Amtech, Dialux, Relux; BIM experience desirable
  • Right to work in the UK
