Job summary

HVAC Recruitment Limited is recruiting an experienced Electrical Shift Lead for a major Wembley venue. You will lead the electrical operation on shift, guide engineers, and manage maintenance and faults across a 24/7, high-demand environment.

The role requires strong leadership, HV exposure, and the ability to resolve technical issues, with training and certification available for HVAP. A competitive salary and overtime are offered within a large, prestigious building services organisation.

Qualifications

• NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Strong commercial electrical maintenance experience.
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic ability.
• Experience working with large building electrical systems.
• Experience supporting or leading other engineers.
• Good understanding of BMS and building controls.
• Strong Health & Safety and safe-isolation knowledge.
• Ability to make technical decisions under shift pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering activity across the shift.
• Provide technical guidance to electricians and engineers.
• Manage planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Respond to faults and escalations.
• Monitor building and plant performance via BMS.
• Ensure SLA-compliant PPM and reactive work.
• Manage electrical isolations and safe systems of work.
• Issue and control permits where appropriate.
• Support emergency response and incidents.
• Supervise specialist contractors.
• Maintain statutory compliance and engineering standards.
• Maintain shift logs and technical docs.
• Support energy-efficiency initiatives.
• Collaborate with other shift leads and technical management.
